The Dynamic (velocity) Seal is a simple device that delivers significant cost savings over time by reducing purge gas requirements. The reverse conical baffle design reduces flow area in the flare tip while simultaneously increasing purge gas velocity. In combination with the Dynamic Seal, a constant flow of purge gas will maintain a seal in the flare system, ensuring that air infiltration does not occur. A vortex effect is created as the exiting purge gas inspirates intruding air. This intruding air is drawn out of the boundary layer and into the exiting purge gas flow column, thus purging the flare tip. This technology is a standard on various flares.
The Sentinel flame monitor detects flames up to 550 feet away. It’s fast to respond, durable, and easy to maintain. If it detects the absence of a flame for whatever duration of time is set by the operator, dry-form C contacts will be activated, setting the pilot re-ignition system into motion.
AEREON’s Jordan Technologies division pioneered, and holds the patent on, vapor-recovery continuous emission monitors (CEMs). Fully compliant with the US EPA 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart BBBBBB, our high-quality CEMs are built to withstand the roughest field conditions.
