Carbon Bed Vapor Recovery Unit with HORI Dry Vacuum Pump
Carbon Bed Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU)
AEREON’s Jordan Technologies has designed, manufactured and actively serviced vapor recovery units (VRU) since 1980. Jordan Technologies' units recover a variety of VOCs in truck, rail, marine and tank breathing applications, as well as crude, ethanol and natural gases. As one of the largest service companies for VRUs in the world market, Jordan provides support to the majority of the world’s operational VRUs, including other manufacturer's equipment.
In 1995 our company expanded to not only servicing competitor's equipment, but also to building technologically advanced and reliable VRUs. These systems include innovations and modifications based on our many years of service experience. A Jordan Technologies VRU is the most efficient, cost effective unit on the market. We currently have more than 350 operational systems worldwide.
At the heart of every Carbon Bed VRU is the vacuum pump technology. AEREON utilizes both liquid ring vacuum pumps as well as dry pump technology. The industry has started to switch to dry pump technology for the newer systems due primarily to improved reliability and decreased contamination of the recovered product by lubricating oils and glycol. Typical dry pumps used in AEREON VRUs are built by Busch and HORI and on a global basis, we have a very active VRU Pump Upgrade program.
